Homemade Music

Somewhat of a productive day… I got in a few hours of mixing on one of my songs for my upcoming record. I have one song 95 percent mixed; and let me tell you, I’ve spent over 10 hours mixing it all together. That’s excluding the time it takes to record the song. I am trying to make a great quality record to show what I can do in my own home. Tomes came over yesterday and recorded some more guitar. He played classical stuff on one of my ballads, and even added a solo. It sounds so amazing. I am so blown away with his work. Also, I suggested that he add slide to another ballad. It sounds like the Layla by Derek and the Domino’s. I loved the slide so much that I’m having him play slide on another song. Well, I’ll keep you guys updated with the new record.
